Level 2 Manners – This class will build on the skills introduced in the Mod.Dog Fundamentals Course. Students will focus on adding distance, duration and distraction to fundamental skills such as sit, down, stay, matwork, coming when called and polite leash walking and focus on the skills needed to for the AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluation.

Tricks are a great way to provide mental exercise for your dog and have fun at the same time. This course is an excellent overview learning simple tricks, and how to apply a variety of training principles to expand basic tricks into more complex ones. Students will have an opportunity to earn their Novice Tricks title!

LET’S WALK! LEASH MANNERS
If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, is highly distracted and generally lacks connection with you on walks, this is the class for you! In this 4-week specialty course, we’ll focus on leash mechanics, walking by your side, focus on you, ignoring distractions, and other valuable skills.
COME BACK! BUILDING A RELIABLE RECALL
Recall is one of the most important skills a dog can have, but training it often eludes owners. This 4-week specialty course will focus on working with your dog to come when you call, every time, and have fun doing it! To be eligible for this course participants must have graduated our Fundamentals course or with instructor permission if an equivalent course was completed elsewhere.

AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN PREP Class
The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep Class is a 3-week short course that focuses specifically on the skills required for CGC test items. Weeks 1-2 will prepare dogs and handlers for test items, week 3 will be the formal evaluation. To be eligible, students must have graduated from Mod.Dog Dynamics, Fundamentals or our Private Training program or with instructor permission if equivalent course(s) were completed elsewhere.
